SGM scheduled on March 1

According to the report, the SGM will be held at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. The new secretary Devjit Saikia has sent a notice to all the state associations on February 6 regarding the meeting. As per BCCI rules, the state associations have to give a 21-day notice before convening the SGM. Names in the race for the post of joint secretary Several names are being discussed for the post of joint secretary. Former Bengal Cricket Association president Abhishek Dalmiya is among the main contenders. Apart from Delhi Cricket Association president Rohan Jaitley, the name of Mumbai Cricket Association’s Sanjay Nayak is also being considered. It is believed that like the election of secretary and treasurer, there will be no formal election for the post of joint secretary.
