**7 infiltrators trying to enter India were killed on LoC**
A major incident has come to light from Jammu and Kashmir today. The Indian Army has killed 7 terrorists trying to infiltrate across the Line of Control (LoC). These infiltrators were trying to enter India by crossing the border illegally from Pakistan. The security forces retaliated immediately and all seven terrorists were killed on the spot.
**Pakistani soldiers were also among the infiltrators**
The incident took place in the Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, on the night of February 4-5, seven terrorists tried to infiltrate into Indian territory from Pakistan. These included Pakistani Army personnel and members of the Al-Badr terrorist group. Their aim was to attack Indian Army posts on the border, a tactic previously used by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT).
**Swift action by security forces**
Upon detecting the infiltrators, the security forces surrounded them and immediately opened fire. All the seven infiltrators were killed on the spot. The quick and decisive action of the Indian Army foiled Pakistan’s plans and neutralised the threat. **Pakistan’s Kashmir Solidarity Day** It is important to note that on February 5, Pakistan observes ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ and often tries to intensify anti-India activities during this period. The infiltration attempt was probably a part of this propaganda. However, the Indian Army successfully foiled Pakistan’s malicious intentions, once again demonstrating its readiness to defend the country against any infiltration or attack.
