Akshay Kumar and Veer Paharia’s action film Sky Force flops at the box office.

Debut hero Veer Paharia and Akshay Kumar’s latest action-packed film Sky Force took a good opening at the Indian box office over the weekend. However, the film has seen a massive drop in collections on its first Monday.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the ilm has so far grossed a total of Rs 68.50 crore, with Sky Force earning Rs 6.25 crore on the fourth day. This marks a significant drop from the film’s impressive opening weekend, where it earned Rs 12.25 crore on Friday, followed by almost doubling the collections with Rs 22 crore on Saturday. The Republic Day holiday on Sunday gave the film a further boost, taking its collections to Rs 27.50 crore, taking its opening weekend total in India to Rs 68.50 crore.

According to the makers of the film, the total earnings in the first weekend across India stood at Rs 86.40 crore while its worldwide collections reached Rs 92.90 crore, indicating a positive response from both Indian and international audiences.

Despite the drop in earnings on Monday, experts believe that Sky Force still has the potential to maintain a steady run at the box office. The film can potentially cross the Rs 100 crore milestone if it maintains its momentum in the coming days.

Directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapoor, Sky Force is the story of Indian Air Force officer T. Vijaya (played by Vir Pahadia) who goes missing during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. Akshay Kumar plays KO Ahuja, a fellow IAF officer who embarks on a daring mission to rescue him.

As the film continues to rake in the waves, all eyes are on how it performs at the box office in the next few days.
