Abhay Singh, better known as “IITian Baba,” has once again captured the internet’s attention—this time with a viral marksheet showcasing his academic brilliance. Hailing from a remarkable academic background, Abhay scored an impressive 93% in his 10th-grade exams and followed it up with 92.4% in his 12th-grade exams. His academic journey reached new heights when he cracked the IIT-JEE exam in 2008, securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 731. This stellar performance earned him a spot at IIT Bombay, where he pursued a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from 2008 to 2012.
Abhay’s story doesn’t end with academics. After graduating, he ventured abroad to Canada, where he worked for three years at a private company, earning an annual salary of Rs. 36 lakh. However, despite his success, Abhay chose to leave the corporate world behind, embarking on a path of self-discovery and philosophy. Along the way, he also pursued a Master’s in Design (M.Des) and explored photography, showcasing his diverse talents.

A former IIT Bombay batchmate, Gaurav Goyal, shared in an interview that Abhay was always a top performer during their college days. “He was a consistent achiever, so it’s surprising to see him choose a spiritual path,” Gaurav remarked, reflecting on Abhay’s shift from engineering to a life of renunciation.
