India has won the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup for the second consecutive time, defeating South Africa by 9 wickets in the final. South Africa, after winning the toss, opted to bat first but was bowled out for just 82 runs in 20 overs. In response, India chased down the target of 83 runs in just 11.2 overs, losing only one wicket.

Indian opener, G Trisha, played an outstanding innings, remaining unbeaten on 44 runs off 33 balls, including 8 boundaries. In addition to her batting heroics, Trisha also made significant contributions with the ball, taking 3 wickets. For her exceptional performance, she was named both the “Player of the Final” and the “Player of the Tournament.” Trisha dedicated her award to her father.

Sanika Chalke also made a valuable contribution, scoring an unbeaten 26 runs off 22 balls. She hit the winning boundary, helping India secure the title.
